In Toronto, Lowe’s has come up with a yearly event where different vendors from all over the Greater Toronto Area sell their goods and services to the people. This event is called the Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market and it will be held at The Distillery Historic District in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This event started last November 30, 2012 but it will be an ongoing Christmas Fair until the 16th of December this year. There will be numerous vendors where you can see a lot of holiday greeting cards for the season, Christmas ornaments, treats, candles, trees, food stalls, products from all over Canada, candies, and more. This is definitely an event that everyone will enjoy including the kids.
In addition to all of the exciting vendors and stalls where people can buy items related to Christmas like holiday postcard printing, bakeshops that offer holiday special treats, homemade ornaments from other cities, there are also schedules for numerous events that should definitely be attended by many.
There will be a tree lighting ceremony where a huge Christmas tree at 45 feet will be lit up with hundreds of lights. There will also be special appearances by local Toronto personalities just like Kira Isabella, Royal Wood, Jarvis Church, and Suzie McNeil. There will also be nightly shows by Christmas carolers, and a sing-a-long with the elves of Santa Claus.
So aside from enjoying the sights and the scenes of these performances, visitors to this year’s Toronto Christmas Market will also be able to enjoy good food and a whole lot of shopping. This will be a great event for the family. Gates open at 12NN during weekdays and 10AM during weekends. Stores will close at 9PM.
