One of the best ways to market your product or service is with postcards. But before you get started you need to think about the overall design, as well as the printer you are going to rely on. It is these details that will determine how much success you have with your campaign.

When designing your postcard it is important to keep things simple. If you add too much clutter the recipient will have a difficult time deciphering your message – this is not what you want.

Along with the design, think about the paper stock. The last thing you want is to convey that feeling that your company is cheap. In most cases, 14 pt. cover gloss or matte with an aqueous coating is the perfect choice.

Don’t go to print until your postcard is exactly what you want it to be. This way, you are happy with what you get, and more importantly, there is a good chance of generating new business.
